"Loved it beautiful"

"Went for a quick family trip at the end of basketball season to try and squeeze in a ski/board trip. Elk River made check in super easy and even made it possible for us to check in early. The cabin had everything we needed for our trip and Ellie Mays restaurant was awesome. For those that like sweet tea, there’s was on another level. The grounds itself had a lot to offer and my daughter and I did some exploring 2 of the days we were there."

"Our family enjoyed our peaceful stay in Slaty Fork during the shoulder season. The home was impeccably clean and appointed. The information packet was jam-packed with useful bits. If we were to come back for skiing or downhill racing, I would stay there–absolutely."

"Beautifully built cabin with knotty pine walls throughout. We had some very cold nights, but the propane heater kept the entire cabin toasty warm. Be sure to keep the living room fan on to circulate the heat. We were disappointed in the bed. It was low to the ground and made loud noises when turning or getting up. The bath mat in the shower needed replacing as it was moldy. Be sure to take bottled water unless you like brown water with iron in it. The driving sight-seeing around it is fantastic....

"We really loved the cabin on the creek. It's really quiet and peaceful. And there are things to do not too far away. The water heater wasn't working well so they came out and put in a new one. Awesome owner!"

"This cabin was perfect for my wife and me. The cabin was functional, felt new and was very comfortable. The cabin is in a remote section of WV and quiet, save a few vehicles passing by on the main road. We wished our stay was longer!"

"Owner and family was super nice and friendly. Cabin backed up to a stream. So even though it rained off and on during my stay, I could open the back door and enjoy the serenity of the stream. The stream also was nice to listen to as I fell asleep each night! The price was super reasonable as well."

"We had a lovely stay for my husband’s 42 birthday at snowshoe. The location to the slopes was great and the cabin was comfortable and peaceful. If forced to give criticisms, we had a few maintenance issues (some lights didn’t work in the bathrooms) and there was no toaster which was a bummer but not a big deal at all! The cabin, however, wasn’t very clean. There were food covered dishes in the cabinets along with the clean dishes and some of the other dishes appeared clean but were wet. We also...

"We’ve made multiple trips to this cabin over the years and this little hide away cabin never disappoints. Being able to have a hot shower, WiFi, and a warm bed makes all the difference when you fish and hike all day. Also, the jacuzzi is great for loosing up those stiff joints after a long day on the river. Thanks Tim, for continuing a great line of owners to open up this beautiful home for renting."

"We loved everything about our stay. Property is awesome and was clean. Directions for everything were clear. Austin is super responsive and easy to get ahold of. Would definitely book again if we were going to be back in the area."

"The house was was perfect for a larger group coming to the area. There was plenty of space and it was pretty clean. The only issues we encountered were that the hot tub was only filled halfway so we had to fill it ourselves, the drinking water jug was empty, and the tap water had a smell to it. Otherwise, we had a great time and the house fit our needs."

"The property was absolutely beautiful. There was a bit of error on my part not planning on no reception so I didn’t write down the passcode but that was completely on me. The homeowners were so understanding and wonderful during all this which I am so appreciative for. The suite was clean, stocked with snacks, tea, and hot chocolate which was so sweet. Overall, after being on the slopes all day my partner and I had an amazing relaxing stay."
