"Very friendly and welcoming, lovely and clean. The bedroom was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and TV, comfy bed and en suite was very clean too. Slept extremely soundly. Breakfast was fantastic, best quality bacon, lovely sausage, couldn’t fault it! For the price it was very reasonable and only a 10-minute walk from the station. Parking permit/disc was arranged by the owner so having free parking was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much."

"I stayed at the Wilson for a couple of nights when working in nearby Whitby, a ten minute drive away. Sneaton is a quiet hamlet near to Ruswarp and is very quiet so great for a peaceful night of sleep. The bed at the Wilson was comfortable with clean crisp bedding. The room was on the small side as it was the attic of the Wilson BUT I was there to sleep after long work days. The room was well set out with a window looking out to the coast, two chairs were placed near the window so I enjoyed my cup of tea on waking. The car park was large enough to afford plenty of spaces to choose from. The downstairs bar and restaurant looked to be very nice, however, I missed out on both as I was an early start and late finish so also missed out on breakfast "

"My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our recent stay in Whitby at "The Endeavour" Pub/Hotel. The atmosphere there was excellent and all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The fact that there was a proper pub on-site which served real ales and had live music performances taking place each of the evenings we were staying there was also a really great added bonus, as well as the fact that the whole place seemed to be really clean and tidy from top to bottom, from what my girlfriend and I could tell, at least. The location of the Premises was also ideal, in terms of it being very close to the Abbey and within very easy walking distance to many of the local eating and drinking establishments, and shops, as well as being near to many of the other local amenities, attractions and so forth. This was particularly useful in view of both my girlfriend and I needing to easily be able to find our way around, due to having limited sight. With this in mind, I can also say that the staff members we met at "The Endeavour' Pub/Hotel all went out of their way to make sure we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay there. So this is somewhere we would absolutely definitely be more than happy to stay at again on any future visits to Whitby. "
