I also found it weird that during my stay the owner message to me to let me know he would be dropping off a snow plow at the house that day. I know it's their property and all it just felt weird as I paid thousands of dollars to be there."

"The stay overall was above satisfactory. This property is listed as Two (2) full baths. It in fact has one 3/4 bath (toilet, sink & shower stall - no tub) and one half bath (toilet & sink only). This may cause an issue if multiple quests, it supposedly sleeps (7) seven, need to shower in a short amount of time, as there is only one shower."

"So, rarely are properties listed accurately. It’s something the renter must face once the car is loaded up and everything is planned. This property is the exception! When the listing says on the beach it means it. If I gingerly tossed a stone out the front door it would hit sand. Sand mind you, we are not talking about the rocky shorelines we have grown to love. "The view was AMAZING. The cabin was very neat and tidy, had everything that we needed. We received a nice email with all the information necessary a few days in advance. Check-in was super easy. The location is quiet and secluded which was just what we were looking for. Already thinking about going back."

"the cottage was extremely comfortable and homey while having many updated amenities. The host was very responsive to all communications. My spouse, our pet and i loved the screened porch and electric start fireplace. A great place to "just get away" and relax."

"Great location- 2 clean cabins and great view of the pond! Off the beaten path. Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! Fans kept us cool - beds comfortable ! Overall a few flaws but one of our favorite picks to date!"

"We went kayaking and biking in Acadia National Park, but we enjoyed staying away from the tourist crowds on this property. It was a super cute house, on a gorgeous setting on a hill. And the town of Belfast has many options to eat and shop. Definitely coming back!!"
