Not quite as good as last time but still will go back
Love the decor of the rooms, but noticed they are becoming a bit shabby - the leg was falling off one of the chairs and the sink was cracked. The spa no longer puts their bottled water in the rooms for free(which is just as well by me, I do not like the flavor), but we did get a voucher for part of the continental breakfast, which we didn’t get the last time we were here. The spa facilities were included in the expedia cost, which is nice since that is normally extra. We love the dual hot tubs at significantly different temperatures, and the locker rooms both have steam rooms and dry sauna’s. Both locker rooms were under renovation and the steam room in the ladies locker room needed repair (functioning but the drain was covered due to damage?)

Restful stay
If you just need a quite night away, Safety Harbor Spa is a great choice. The rooms are quite and comfortable. The dinner was great and we had the option of sitting out under the stars while listening to live music. Once dinner was over, we took a short stroll down to the dock. Our night was not over yet. The Spa offers a comedy show every Friday and Saturday night. The show was very entertaining and a great way to end the night. Take advantage of the spa services. The massages are out of this world. The pool is lovely too. It’s right on the bay. Can’t say enough about this weekend get away!

Would not recommend
Went for a weeklong vacation and was disappointed with the lack of customer service. Only 3 employees were really very helpful. Hotel is old and though they have renovated it...somewhat...it still has a long way to go. The food in the resort was terrible. Thank goodness for the resaurant across the street. There is NO beach area. For sleeping and sunning it was ok....nothing more, nothing less.
