I would recommonnded this place to every one it is mintues to airport and mintues to Grace Land.

Just ok

Just an ok hotel. Nice lobby and bar. Beds were awesome but bathroom was ridiculously small. Maid service was suspect and room service was non-existant. Tough location to get to but close to some great restaurants. Not my first choice but I would stay there again if I had to.

Good Experience

I had a worry-free hotel stay at the Memphis Hilton. Visited Memphis for a family occasion and the hotel location worked well for me. I was no more than 15 minutes from everywhere I needed to go. The restaurant options in the area were great, especially having a Chick-fil-a in either direction. I live in NY and I really miss that place. The hotel room was clean, the shower worked well and there were no issues with hot water. Beyond that the only other concerns I have about hotels are temperature control and noise. Neither were an issue. Didn’t have much contact with hotel staff, I guess that’s a good thing. I was satisfied with the room rate and I would stay there again.

Good price, nice and clean room, poor service.

The room was as nice, clean, and comfortable as we expected from a Hilton. But, the service was slow except for maid service. We checked in on a Saturday and there was one person working the check-in counter. Another supervisor-type person stood in the background but did not offer to check in anyone standing in the very long line. We stood in line over 45 minutes waiting to be checked in. Also, we lost an item. When we asked if the item had been turned in, we were told none of the property managers who could check the lost-and-found worked on the weekends and we would have to wait until Monday. Long story short, it took six days of calling before anyone would check the lost-and-found and get back to us. But it did end well.

Hotel Beautiful, Service Poor

My venture across country with two kids solo landed me at the Memphis Hilton. At 11:45 pm the fire alarm went off and I had to grab both sleeping kids and race downstairs. False Alarm. No big deal. But the Hotel did not end up turning off the blinking Fire strobe light for nearly 3 hours! I ended up sleeping by the door on the floor. Then in the a.m. when I called the desk twice for someone to assist me with my luggage, no one came -- and I waited 30 minutes. Also, no compensation for the discomfort of the Fire Alarm or blinking light in my room.

Under my expectation

The room I stayed was dirty.It was inconvenient that there wasn’t a refrigerator in each room.However, breakfast was delicious.

Nice Hotel

This was a very nice hotel. However, there were a few issues we had problems with. Check in time is suppose to be a 3 p.m. We had friends arrive and they had to wait 3 hrs. to check in their room and it was after 3! We only waited about 20 - 30 minutes but we didn’t get there until after 6:00 p.m. Thermostat was set on 65 in room, but never cooled to that. Room was quite warm at times. Warning: bottled water in room will cost you $4.50 if you drink it! Overall we would return and do recommend this hotel.

Clean & comfortable

The room was excellent and comfortable. Expensive internet. No mini bar in room. Restaurant food sub standard and not recommended. I feel this hotel is good for conventions only. It is a long drive from the airport and downtown.

Predictable Hyatt quality

High quality service; restaurant has fabulous breakfast buffet and dinner menu. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. Just what you’d expect from a Hyatt. The only issue I had was the room temp. The setting can’t be lowered below 65 and that was quite warm for sleeping.

Beautiful setting; quiet street to run or walk. They even have a garden pond with geese!

Nice hotel in the suburbs

The hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We thought the location was good for a family as it was in a neighborhood that felt very safe. We went to the Zoo/Graceland/Downtown and its just about a 15-20 minute drive from any of those locations.

Try Corky’s BBQ, just a 2-3 minute drive from the hotel. Awesome Ribs!

Very Modern!

It was really nice. You could tell it had been redone. The actual bathroom was a little snug, but the King size bed was huge! It was really nice and clean.

It is not too far from the zoo and downtown (Beale Street). So definitely don’t think you can’t stay there.

overall hotel is good, clean, but restaurant was horribly overpriced for quality/quantity you get -- dinner for 2 with 2 drinks each came to nearly $100. Service was slow

Big Surprise!

I was simply amazed that in a time when Mac Donald’s has free internet access in many locations, the Hilton expects its guests to pay $ 9.95 a day. Since I really need to be able to access my office, I guess I will make another choice. Otherwise , it is a good choice for memphis.

Great Stay

We had a beautiful view of the wonderful water fountain. Our room was spacious and clean. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious, but a bit pricey ($80.00 for two). Overall experience was great!

Not Impressed

no microwave or refrigerator in the room.

For an Executive Level room, this was disappointing

I think you need to enlarge the rooms on the Executive Level.

Nice for a quick visit

Only had a two night stay, so we didn’t use much of the hotel’s facilities including the pool or exercise facilities, but many others were using them. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant first night and they had a nice selection with good food quality. Fun decor. Very good hotel for the price.
