I was not given the room I paid for and reserved with expedia. The room was awful. There was blood on the wall in the hallway, blood on the pull out sofa mattress, and blood on the sofa armrest. The pull out mattress was as thin as paper and I could feel every spring in my back. The pillows smelled like dirty hair. The indoor pool was freezing. The staff were so unhelpful. I was given the wrong room and was told “well we’re full, they should’ve called you.” I spoke with someone the next morning to see if we could switch rooms and was told “no, we were full last night.” It’s a brand new day and they were no longer full yet still unaccommodating. This was a Hilton brand hotel, Home2Suites. I never expected this for my daughter’s 13th birthday roadtrip, and will never book a room through Expedia. Horrible advertising.
