“Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. The private trail was a moderate hike to a gorgeous waterfall and was a great taste of the beauty of the area without the crowds of Tenorio. Our 6 year-old loved seeing the red-eyed tree……

“The nicest people and wonderful hosts. I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. It was the sweetest thing and so special for our family. It was such a kind gesture and it set the tone for the rest of our time there. Breakfast was a lovely production. We entered the dining room and they just started bringing out entree after entree, fruit, eggs, gallo……

“We had a fantastic time! Orlando (the owner), his family, and all of the staff were so kind and welcoming! We really enjoyed the thermal longevity circuit, plus we went tubing down the river which was a blast too! On day 2 we did the cultural coffee, chocolate, tortilla demonstration and we also went on a short hike through the trail where Orlando helped us spot a sloth! We had the pizza at the resort the first night, so then we wanted to try out some authentic Costa Rican and he was able to……
