"From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the owners, Flory and Manuel, made me feel completely at home. Flory’s kindness stood out when she offered me fresh tea leaves to soothe a stomachache, a thoughtful gesture I’ll never forget. Manuel added to the magic by pointing out howler monkeys in the trees, a sight that felt straight out of a nature documentary. Angie went above and beyond, taking me on a walk across the property in search of sloths. We found not just one, but two, including a mother with her baby. The wildlife here is incredible: toucans, great-tailed grackles, and butterflies in vibrant colors graced the property, making every moment feel like a nature adventure. Breakfast was another highlight. Each morning, I looked forward to a delicious meal paired with fresh juice. The bungalows themselves are clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. Agutipaca Bungalows is, without a doubt, one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. "It was our first time visiting Costa Rica. The stay at Lucky bug B&b was nothing short of awesome. It's run by Rob and Monica who were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast is prepared by Monica herself, and she could be the best cook in town! The property itself is very serene, lots of birds chirping early in the morning. We truly enjoyed our stay in this little paradise. "

"Honestly, Senora Elma was amazing to my children and I. Although many of the staff we encountered did not speak our language, they were patient with us and did not make us feel uncomfortable. There are many attractions close by, as well as food options. Breakfast is included, ans they were willing anf able to accommodate us with our plant-based meals. The pool was not avaolable for use, but there were so many other things to do. The staff even offered to take us to the attractions. Please note that Lunch and dinner are not included, and there are no prices listed, so ask in advance. Also, please meals are not made to order- you get what is being made for that meal at that time, so everything is fresh!"

"Patrick was an incredible host. He met us upon arrival and set us up with a driver and excursions each day. All his recommendations for restaurants were superb. His wife would come each morning and prepare us a breakfast fit for Kings and Queens.The house is amazing! It’s spacious, clean, fully equipped, and beautifully decorated!! And the views of the lake and volcano are to die for!!!The pool house is equipped with a small gym that our kids used each day and a hot tub that helped to soothe our bodies after our adventurous days. The kids were brave and swam in the chilly pool…brrrr!!We loved everything about our stay at the Red Sunset at Guanacaste "
