“The first room was not good (has a bad washroom smell). I asked the front desk for another room. Julio, the attendant at the moment, moved me to a different room, which was in much better condition. The breakfast was included (it was simple, the coffee was good, they didn't offered eggs) Location was great: 1 block from Playa Brava and 2 blocks from Gorlero ave. You get what you paid for. Overall, this hotel is a 2 start hotel in Punta Del Este.”

“Very cool design, great location walking distance to everything in Jose Ignacio, convenient to the bus station. Rooms are well designed and beds are comfortable. Really nice market and coffee shop / bakery just around the corner. Still some work in progress. The property seems to still be under some construction, as the bar is not yet open and a few other cosmetic things missing. The rooftop pool does not have umbrellas (and according to staff will not due to the wind), so it is fully exposed……

“The staff was wonderful and good to bounce ideas off of. I was comfortable here and the places is easily walkable to beaches on each side of the city along with plenty of bars and restaurants. I enjoyed Punta del Este more than Montevideo despite being a bit of a history guy and generally liking capital cities. Also, Jose Ignacio is a short trip up the coast and it's absolutely beautiful there.”
