“Restaurant hostess was immediately unfriendly to us when we asked for the cost of their buffet which was not posted visibly at the restaurant entrance. We left to go elsewhere. The hotel desk was nicer. Rooms were adequate but overheated and without A/C.”
“Staff was very helpful. Food was good. Property was a little dated and overall could do with some upgrades. Our curtains didn’t cover the entire window so room was light all night long. 2 of 3 lamps in the room as well as an extension cord didn’t work so there was limited opportunities to charge phone etc. .”
“Clean, comfortable stay. No cups or kettle in room. Restaurant closes at 8 pm. We are at Frozen—only other place open later. Good pizza and burger and great service there.”
“This a modest hotel in a wonderful little town, close to the harbor and “downtown” area. Their restaurant is good but for dinner meals make sure you know how that is functioning during your visit because there are very few places to get a meal and none are open late. Breakfast is great, available daily, with great coffee and buffet style food, awesome bread. It’s very close to the starting point of the Anders Askevold, self-guided walking tour of 11 points of interest; he was a 10th century……
“The hotel host was very friendly and provided us with a very warm welcome. The room is clean and tidy. The 3 courses dinner there tasted very good and definitely worth the money. The only disadvantage would be the noise problem in room though ear plugs are provided.”
