“My stay at this hotel was absolutely horrible. The room was not properly cleaned, and the bed was dirty, which is completely unacceptable.
The customer service made things even worse — the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional, and I felt very poorly treated throughout my stay.
To top it off, the breakfast was the worst I’ve ever experienced, very low quality and not worth it at all.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. ”

“I've stayed several times before: it's a big hotel but with character. It's vintage 1970s (I should say):dated but well-kept, and full of references to Garibaldi. The name relates to the 'Thousand' who set out with the General to unify Italy in the 19th Century (Bergamo claims that they came from there). There are restaurants 15 minutes walk away. The breakfast - included - is good and very varied, and the staff are friendly. And it has its own free car-park: I've used it in the past. ……
