“The place is beautiful!”

“In general the place is great, however, we rented the flat with two bedrooms and a kitchenette. However the kitchenette was in need of repairs and the dishes and utensils were dirty with dried out food and housekeeping was unreliable.”

“Pool , staff every thing was great. I wish I had realized There was a small store almost across the street. I also wish they had beach chairs. Take a small soft collapsible ice chest for the beach. I felt very safe there and traveling around the area. Rent a rav 4 or similar. Go beach hopping , explore off the beaten path a little. Not difficult to do. Plug your phone in to the car. You will be fine. ”

“Will for sure return. We appreciated the tranquility and lack of artificial noise. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with generous portions; thank you for all the coffee too. Breakfast and pool area are shared, it was nice and comfortable. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. It even has cooking oil, salt, and some spices, utensils are basic. The trails are short distance. Staff was friendly. Cocles beach is my favorite in the area so I’ll say it’s well……

“The staff were incredible and so helpful. The cabins are open air; just screen windows, so if you hate being damp, this is not the place for you. There are also a lot of ants, so don't leave ANY crumbs unattended. Location and garden were amazing... Definitely a "roughing it" kind of stay, so be prepared, and bring waterproof bags or ziplocks for your electronics”

“The bungalow was private and you can see toucans in your back yard. Isabella is amazing, she helped me order food for delivery in the rain, she helped organize excursions, she helped with bike rentals/organized tuk tuks, and recommended things to do around town/best sunsets. Anytime I am in Puerto Viejo I will stay at Villa Roca de Caribe for sure.”
