Restaurant was great. Good food & service. Room - beds hard, low lights - not enough, old towels no bath mat.

"Perfect stay near Yosemite."
Everything about my experience was positive. Quick check in, no hidden fees, warm, clean room, comfortable beds. Just know that there is no wifi and no free movie channels like HBO. If you can live with that, then fine. No breakfast offered. There is a breakfast restaurant next door. Yosemite about 1 hour away.

"Lovely two-story ski chalet all to ourselves!"
We loved having a whole cabin to ourselves. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool wasn't heated like the brochures and website said it would be. At least the hot tub was still actually hot. Too bad the bakery and dockside ice cream shop aren't open off-season. The exceptional drought shrank Bass Lake down to a puddle, leaving the docks high and dry on the shore. A sad sight. We felt like eco-tourists, except we were surveying environmental damage instead of an ecological wonder.

"Best place to stay to got to Yosemite "
Great motel with clean and comfortable rooms that feature a fireplace . The breakfast was very good. Just grabbed some cereal and toast. The hotel staff is excellent. I could not recommended this place more. Protip: outside there is a grill that you can use. Just grab some meat and veggies at the store and have a BBQ at night!

"Very nice tranquil B & B "
We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here. Lovely room and host. Great breakfast too. Very quiet and peaceful and only 12 miles from the park's southern entrance. We have no hesitation in recommending the Houndstooth Inn!

"At the heart of the Village"
Accessible, and right in the middle of things. Tons to do for families. About 5 minutes from Minaret village, 15 minutes from the farthest ski lodge, although there are free shuttles to most off-site attractions, so very convenient. Rooms are clean and modern and equipped with a full kitchen, so cooking meals instead of going out is possible and made easy. Garage parking which is a plus when it is snowing. Overall great!

"Rustic cabin in an amazing setting"
We loved Tamarack! Stayed in a studio cabin. The small kitchen was great, the bed very comfortable, the woodstove easy to use. Talk about cozy, rustic atmosphere! Right outside the door got on the bike path and hiked up to Horseshoe Lake. The staff at Tamarack were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is simple but good.

"Perfect for our visit"
The hotel was comfortable and close to everything. The room was clean and looked recently remodeled. The bathroom was big and nicely done, plenty of room for gear and clothes. Of course, my bed was comfortable and my son's wasn't - I believe that is just a matter of preference.
