Izba (изба) means in Russian: wooden house in the countryside. The Izba in Pairi Daiza is inspired by traditional Russian architecture, with its roof tiles and domes, which are also made entirely of wood! It is an immense restaurant (1.100 m² covered and a terrace of 400 m²) with a cosy atmosphere and the decoration refers to fairy tales and legends from Russian folklore.
