WE have stayed here a couple of times. The hotel is modern and comfortable. There is also a Spa which seems to be very popular. There is a lively scene in the bar and restaurants which seemed to be used a lot by locals . It is south of Brussels and about a 40 min drive to the airport depending on traffic.

Breakfast is excellent!

Breakfast is excellent! Beds are very soft. Restaurant is good. Few staff speaks English - but we were able to communicate 😀 I will be back.

Buolding work carried out in areas of hotel. A room opposite mine noisy as construction work being carried out. Had to request change of room. Fire alarm kept on going off 3vey evening and the again 02:19, 03:10 and 04:10 Monday and Tuesday night So bad had to check out early .

Security entered room while asleep

The security/receptionists let themselves into my room while i was asleep on 2 consecutive nights. The first was for a noise complaint (i was asleep with no TV on) the second was for smoking which i wasnt. I travelled here for work from the UK and was up at 6am in the morning. It was clear someone was smoking and making noise in a room on the corridor but I was told by the "head of security", who let himself into my room when i was asleep, that he was allowed to do so as he suspected it was me by mistake. Other than that the facilities and rooms were nice and the other staff were lovely.

Overall good but a few issues

You always expect high quality from a van der valk hotels and this hotel is a decent one but a few things still had me dissatisfied. First the brasserie meals we took were overpriced for the offered quality. Burger meat is stiff and omelet is overstated. The cocktails we took out in the bar were average. The breakfast is nice though. The biggest quarry I had is with AC system. We stayed in early may and the rooms were hot! The AC system control unit doesn't have any digits, just a knob that even in it's lowest position doesn't chill the room enough.

Dejligt ophold

Vi havde booket et familieværelse, og det var virkeligt luksus. Det var delt op i 2, et soveværelse og et børneværelse. Der var TV på begge værelser, og sengene var fantastiske. Ved ankomst var der gratis sodavand og juice i minibaren og en kaffemaskine på værelset. Der blev fyldt kaffekapsler + sukker og fløde op hver dag. Der var badekåber og badeslippers på værelset, som vi brugte, når vi gik til poolen og sauna. Der er både indendørs(med bestemte tidspunkter for børn) og udendørs pool Personalet var helt fantastisk, lige fra da vi ankom til vi tog afsted. Vi blev taget imod af receptionisten Boumediene, som var varm og nærværende. Min datter havde fødselsdag under opholdet, og han hjalp mig med at arrangere kage og sang for min datter på restauranten. Der ligger et kæmpe shoppingcenter med masser af butikker og restauranter lige ved siden af. Og et legeland 9 min væk i bil, hvor der også er McD ved siden af. Eneste minus var, at rengøringsdamen kom ind på vores værelse trods vi havde sat "Please don't disturb" skiltet på. Så man gik lidt med angst for, om døren blev åbnet lige pludselig. Dette skete dog kun én gang, så måske hun overså skiltet. Morgenmaden var for dyr for os. Så vi handlede i stedet ind i det nærliggende supermarked og opbevarede pålæg osv i minibaren. Makeupspejlet på badeværelset var genialt men ærgerligt at det indbyggede lys ikke virkede.. Det kunne jeg virkeligt have brugt. Alt i alt et dejligt ophold, vi følte os trygge. Anbefales klart!

A very nice hotel tucked away in the middle of Clervaux. Difficult to find the entrance to the car park underneath the property, and the short walk outside to the rooms could be a problem, but everything else about the hotel is excellent. The spa area is wonderful.

Sengen var næsten umulig at sove i… alt for blød og ekstrem knirkende og hovedpuderne var ekstremt hårde og meget høje. Vi ringer til receptionen og spurgte om de havde andre hovedpuder, men det havde de ikke. Indendørssvømmepøl og fitnesscentret kostede penge at benytte, stor skuffelse. Da vi spurgte om vi kunne få to ekstra håndklæde så vi kunne benytte den udendørs pool fik vi med nød og næppe lov til at få to ekstra håndklæder

beaucoup de monde et environment intérieur très bruyant notamment dans le bar et la salle d'accueil. Je n'ai pas trouvé la piscine ni intérieure ni extérieure probablement par manque d'indications. Mias je n'ai pas cherché très longtemps car je n'avaitspas envie de rester dans l'hotel et préféré manger à l'extérieur.

Very clean, convenient, close to the main highway , the breakfast is great, fresh produce, a lot of choices and everything was delicious, a real treat to start the day. The beds were comfortable. I definitely would recommend it.

Gute Lage

Wir hatten die Hochzeitsuite, welche sehr schön war. Minibar mit Getränken, Knabbereien, Schokolade etc war dort incl. In der Anmeldung wurde Checkin ab 14:30 Uhr bestätigt, leider war sie erst 15:30 Uhr bezugsfertig. Das war ärgerlich. Wir hatten Hochzeitstag, was wir dem Hotel im Vorfeld auch mitteilten und baten um Tischreservierung im Restaurant.,Das Restaurant ist sehr groß und sehr laut, man kam sich vor wie in einer Bahnhofhalle. Enttäuschend war, dass uns nur ein kleiner Tisch in schlechter Lage zugeteilt wurde. Wir hatten für den Anlass einen schöneren Tisch z.B am Fenster erwartet. Frühstückbuffet war gut und vielfälzig und Eierspeisen wurden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Insgesamt sind eir bon den Van Valk Hoteks mehr Charme und besseren Service gewohnt. Dieses Hotel hst den Nachteil, dass es eher ein Konferenzhotel und daher sehr groß und unpersönlich ist. Lage sehr gut direkt an Autobahnabfahrt und gegenüber eines großen Einkaufzentrums. Parken kostenlos direkt am Hotel.

Qualité Van der Valke mais piscine inaccessible

Une nuit de passage à Nivelles. Chouette accueil, chambre ok. Restaurant impeccable. Juste pour le service piscine, il y a des cours d'aquagym pendant la journée et en soirée et la piscine n'est pas accessible pendant ces moments là.
