"I personally don't like having to carry 25 kg of linen on my back across 400 m, and then spend one hour putting the linen on the beds, coming back to the reception because they did not give us the right set, puzzling over which linen goes where, etc. Sure they provide caddies, but they seem to always be taken or in a state of disrepair. "I personally don't like having to carry 25 kg of linen on my back across 400 m, and then spend one hour putting the linen on the beds, coming back to the reception because they did not give us the right set, puzzling over which linen goes where, etc. Sure they provide caddies, but they seem to always be taken or in a state of disrepair. I have seen this type of campground-like hotel approach in other places in France, but never in any of my travels any other place in the world. I would prefer to know in advance that this is a campground mindset so as to avoid it. To me, it's like if someone invites me for dinner and asks me to clean the toilet while they cook."
