“We loved the hotel, however in the warm weather the fans do nothing to cool the room down enough to get a good night's sleep. We mentioned to staff who adjusted the fan but it seemed minimum temp was 18 degrees! Couldn't get the shaver sockets to work in bathroom but luckily we had an adapter. One of the blinds in our room was missing it's winder so had to roll it up manually in order to get some air into room. Often forgot to give us towels or full quota of towels which was annoying. “The Hotel is in a great location and is about 7 minutes drive from the beach and main attractions. However the hotel is pretty basic and not worth the amount of money they are charging. Check-in was challenging as the room we were allocated already had another guest in it. We also had a key card that was not working. Our room was a good size with a kitchenette ideal for families, however the bathroom & carpet was not clean.”

“We stayed in a sea view room and, unfortunately, the hotel didn’t live up to expectations. The biggest issue was that it felt very tired and in need of refurbishment. The room and hotel overall felt quite run down, especially considering the price. Sleep wasn’t great either. The walls and corridors seem to carry a lot of noise, so you hear doors constantly closing throughout the hotel. The “double” bed was simply two single mattresses pushed together, which wasn’t particularly……

“We chose this hotel because of its fabulous location and the photos on the website, which made it look stylish and inviting. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match our expectations. The hotel itself is looking quite tired and could really do with some refurbishment. We were also looking forward to the food after seeing the menu and photos online, but it turned out there was a new chef and a completely different menu. “Very charming hotel, beautiful courtyard. I am very happy I got to experience this 800 year old hotel with such a pretty site especially that I came all the way from San Francisco. The only common is that we happened to stay during the heatwave, the room is extremely hot, and the room facing the street it is loud with party peorple walking by and talking loud - drunk on a Sat. night. Otherwise, I love my stay and highly recommended.”
