“AHG Lion Gate Hotel has a lot of potential. The food was very good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was also fascinating to see how many languages they spoke, which really added a welcoming and international feel to the place. However, the alcoholic drinks were disappointing—most tasted watered down, like a mix of juice and very little alcohol. For the price of the all-inclusive option, it’s surprising that it ends at 10 p.m. After that, you have to pay for drinks, and……

“The staff was so helpful to us especially when my husband got sick. The hotel manager got us a driver to take us to a nearby clinic. Without that help he would not have recovered fast enough to make our flight. The staff was so concerned and let us stay in our room past our checkout time without charging us for an extra day. We are so grateful to them for taking such good care of us. We will never forget them or what they did for us. This kind of care and service is priceless.”
