The pool is a community pool, but the hotel has a section of reserved chairs for hotel guests. eBikes were included in the reservation so we biked for \~30 minutes to go down by the river and make it easier to get back up to the hotel. "Petit havre de paix. Nous y sommes arrêtés pour une nuit afin de couper le trajet Lisbonne-Douru à Evora. Des hôtes accueillants et très chaleureux. Des lits très confortables et une chambre d’une propreté impeccable. Petit déjeuner délicieux avec yogourt au miel local et des fruits frais et juteux cueillis à même l’arbre. Mium! Un très beau gîte à un prix très raisonnable. On recommande!"

"The hotel sustained some damage during the January 2026 storms. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The breakfast had extensive options, everything was fresh and in abundance. Parking was very convenient. Location was close to attractions, and many restaurants. I would stay at this hotel again if I was in this area."

"Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Very central, but extremely quiet. Parking right outside the hotel front door is a plus, and accomodates all sizes of cars. Excellent breakfast, and the automated coffee machine has decaf selections, too! The hotel is literally surrounded by the river, and there are senches to enjoy peaceful time outside. The staff is excellent and helps make tge stay exceptional. Would stay here again."

"This hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Rooms are bright and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and it was a pleasure to wake up to warm sunlight from the Juliet balcony. The location is great, with easy walking access to several restaurants in town. The staff are a credit to their organisation and helped with advice when asked. The provided information about driving tours of the area, all of which proved fascinating. We particulary recommend visiting Monsanto, Coimbra, Tomar and the Schist Villages."
