"Arrived on a bleak Invercargill day, completely underdressed for the weather, was invited for early check in so i could get changed. upon arrival the heater had been switched on so the room was nice and warm. Room was cosy, warm and clean. Parking was great. Highlight of staying here was the hosts, they were attentive, friendly and had some great recommendations on food and activities. "The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. We had to get lots more firewood from the woodpile especially kindling as we lit the fire each morning and evening. The living area was quite dark. The ducks outside were very noisy all night which was a bit disturbing. Overall however a different...
