“Excellent, friendly service from all the staff. The hotel was a long walk along the front from the ferry terminal but taxis were available outside on the street in front of the port. Very nice breakfast each morning which offered porridge, kippers and boiled eggs to order as well as cereal, pastries and full English. The room was lovely and clean with views over the sea front (we paid extra for the sea view) In the evening a gentle man was playing the piano in the bar which was pleasant while……

“2nd time we've stayed here and highly recommend. It's not your average Isle of Man hotel. ”

“The hotel was old but on the whole well kept, but our room was small the window was frosted over so no view and only open a couple of inches. The bed was a very small double bed. On the plus side the staff were excellent and friendly. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection.”

“It's a bit dated, still very nice. Brett, the receptionist was awesome. Gave us great places to go and eat/drink. Very friendly people all around. Housekeeping was very good and refilled everything daily. Car rental gentleman were fun and informative. Bar staff friendly and accommodating. Just a nice place to stay.”

“Fabulous hotel, very clean and comfortable. Rooms are really nice very comfortable spacious bed. Bathroom was great, lovely shower. Every member of staff who we spoke to were so helpful especially the ladies on reception. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were very friendly and answred any questions we had about the hotel or the area. Breakfast was delicious, all items were extremely tasty and there was lots of choice. We hired a car for the day and we were able to park underneath the……

“Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. ( can also be put back easily but.. ) in the living……

“Extremely roomy and well-appointed, very comfortable stay in a great location, just a few minutes from the ferry so great for walkers. Bus stop on the block, great transportation around the island. Enjoyed the view, excellent kitchen facilities, Marks & Spencer just a couple blocks away. Would definitely recommend for value for money. ”

“Central location, close to bus stops, Cindy the host was lovely and our stay lived up to all the previous reviews we read. Lovely clean room, nice bed, quiet street, had our own kitchenette and living room and bathroom, it was pretty much like renting a whole apartment but cheaper! We felt like we had moved house and it was our own apartment! Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone! ”
