"What a great stay we had here, we have been coming to Barmouth for many years and for a long break usually have a caravan out of the town but as we were only here for a few days chose a hotel in the town, perfevt location, easy check in, was able to park the car which was great room was perfect and the view was amazing and in walking distance of the town and close to everything we needed for the few days. "Brilliant stay. The room was clean and a good size, the staff were really friendly, the place was easy to find, centrally located and close to shops, the castle, the bus station and the pub next door did wonderful food. There was also a good size TV in the room and a kettle as well as complimentary teabags and coffee. Apart from the fact the shower tray got full very quickly and took a while to drain I can't think of a single negative. Really good value. One of the best hotels I've stayed in for a long time."

"Generally the property was nice, however having stayed at similar properties over the years, I think there were a few things which could be improved. These are personal preferences but I think its the smaller touches which make all the difference. For example, it would have been nice if guests were given bath towels rather than the smaller sized towels, with spares available at the property. As the property had a hot tub, robes would have been nice. The tea and coffee selection was very basic. I also felt the beds have seen better days. Generally the property was clean but the kitchen floor felt sticky."
