“Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling……

“Chumbi resort location is such that from our room 1009 lying down in the bed you could see the 1st rays of son faliing on the mighty Kanchenjhonga the 3rd tallest mountain in the world. Surrounding natural beauty is at its best from Chumbi Resort. Ambience,Staff, Room quality, food and overall service was exceptional and would ask nature lovers to opt for this one and not in the cluster of hotels in Pelling Bazaar area. Simply superb.”

“Room too cold. Cant be adequately heated. Staff refused to give 2nd key to keep heater on . Cockroaches in dining area/table. Staff ignored when cockroaches were pointed out. ”
