“The resort appears to be older but my room had signs of being renovated to be modern with an updated bathroom. The resort is clean with staff sweeping, collecting used drink cups, etc. Housekeeping did a great job keeping my room cleaned daily. The staff at the restaurants and pool were friendly. “Casino on property is very outdated with old slot machines. Very small square footage with very dark lighting. Tables are limited to about 6 total. Must pay a 7 percent fee on winnings on tables above what you bought in for. If you have losing receipts, you can claim them as a loss up until your same amount of winnings in order to not pay taxes on. Slot machines are a different deal all together. “Overall a pleasant stay - room was clean, beach was ideal for young kids since the report is essentially in a lagoon, staff was very friendly, food was delicious, grounds were beautiful and well maintained. One down side was the fact that you don’t make reservations for the restaurants for dinner - it’s all on first come first serve basis. We would wait up to 2 hours for a table and missed all the nightly entertainment. ”

“Not quite ready for prime time. We had premium rooms and thus the special check in and concierge. Difficult to communicate with over email prior to arrival and no better in person. One day the gym was FILTHY! No towels, no water, no wipes, HOT. No one had checked in for hours. Concierge seemed confused about issue. Making dinner reservations with her was painful. Excellent yoga program. Food at reservation only restaurants is good. Buffet etc mediocre. Breakfast was a sh*! show—tons……

“The restaurant on site is excellent. They close at 6, so mostly breakfast, lunch or early dinner. The beach bungalows are lovely and rustic. Try to get one with air conditioning. Not all have it. You’re right on the soft sand beach with jungle behind the hotel. Walking distance to other wonderful hotels for food/drinks. The staff could not be nicer. ”

“The buffets were great, rooms were large and clean. The resort was clean with plenty of activities to do for the whole family. The adults only section was amazing we will be back. Did not enjoy the pressure of signing up for a legendary package. Wasted 3hrs because we were told we had to sit there to receive our 200 per day credit ”
