“From all the places I have been to in China, this place just stands out on top. The staff were super helpful, and everyone I talked to there could speak English. Here I want to make a special mention of Sunny and Evan at reception. They went out of their way to help us with rebooking our room, and to know more about the area and activities. “this review is done as a business person in town for three nighs and being a westerner. There is a language problem here with little english being spoken. they dont have five restaurants as shown on the web page and no you cant count restaurants outside as yours. the gym is a joke and staff seemed to want to keep me away from it. food is all Chinese which is fine really as you are well in China, no knives and forks which could be an issue. you can't charge food and beverage back to your room so...

“１日目は上海８時発の新幹線で杭州東に着き、バスで約３時間掛けて、千島湖バスターミナル到着、そこからタクシーで１３時頃にホテルチェックイン。ホテルスタッフは英語通じないみたいです。どこの旅行社で頼んだのかと聞かれましたので、EXPEDIAと筆記で伝えましたが、首をひねってました。中国語できなければ、チェックイン難しいのではないかと思いました。その後、近くの料理店（徒歩１０分程度）で昼食（淡水魚料理中心）、二人で１８０元程度でした。２日目は、朝からタクシーで中心港まで行き、船に乗って約６時間の島めぐりをしました。千島湖バスターミナル１６時頃出発し、最終上海には２１時頃に到着しました。千島湖は景色が非常に美しく、行って良かったとは思いますが、リピートして行きたいとは思いません。景色以外の島観光は、他の中国の観光地と同様、あまりおもしろいというものではありません。”
