“My daughter and I enjoyed 6 nights at El Sol and felt as if we had truly discovered the “heart” of Costa Rica. The staff were friendly and there to help with anything we might need. Nature was all around us, and occasionally in the cabin with us! The property is well kept. Infinity pool and sunsets gorgeous! There is no actual restaurant on site, but they offer a delicious breakfast and dinner menu that guests can have delivered to their cabin. This was the perfect start to our first visit to……

“We loved the breakfast. We didn’t like the busy noisy trucks driving by all day and night. The room had a skylight and it was very bright overnight so that wasn’t great either. The free coffee and tea all day was a great perk. The fireplace at night in the lobby was also a nice addition. Would stay again but in another room that’s darker.”

“Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. We went for something to eat, and then came back to the cabin for a shower and a nights sleep. My 2 friends were……

“We wanted to book somewhere in the middle of nowhere and this was what we booked. What a stunning view of the surrounding area and the night sky was something I hope I can remember forever. The lodge was what you can expect for the price, certainly adequate enough and breakfast was more than enough and was included too. We arrived just before the season start and I think there’s an image of the jacuzzi but don’t expect it to be operational, no big deal. Have a walk around the local area, there’s……

“Private hot tub on balcony, in a secluded area with great privacy. When you walk in, you feel like you are walking into a spa, it smelled amazing and they have on music to greet you. The bed was so comfortable. Cute string lights adorn the outside of the “dome.” We had a great stay!”
