8.2/10 Very Good! (355 reviews)
Maybe it was just bad luck. Even though the hotel wasn't full at all - maybe only a quarter occupied — I was given a terrible room. It was the farthest from the restaurant (where the WiFi router is), so the connection kept cutting in and out. I couldn't even finish a message before the WiFi dropped.
The room didn't have a bedside lamp, so once the main light was off, I was left in complete darkness — even getting to the bathroom was difficult.
Everything felt quite primitive, and I was bitten by mosquitoes. When I asked the front desk, the staff gave me mosquito repellent (thanks for the help) - but it was literally the last few drops in the bottle.
The road in the area is still under construction, so even though the falls are only a 12-minute walk away, it's not easy to get there. You have to walk along the main road, almost like walking on a highway. So better use Uber.
The AC is can only be set as 23 degrees Celsius. Can’t turn the temperature up and down from the remote. So you maybe too cold in the middle of the night or wake up form hot and humid.
Next time I’d try another hotel instead.
