We did a quick 1 day trip Iguaçu Falls. This hotel was wonderful!! Use the tour guide at the hotel. Quite reasonable

We stayed here for 1 week after a week at nearby Carimã Resort (see review). Same ownership. Hotel also sits off of Avenida das Cataratas. Breakfast and dinner very similar to Carimã. This hotel is a smaller scale, except for the extra-large game room and gym (larger than Carimã). The rooms and service excellent. Olga, of guest services, also fluent in English and Spanish, provided unusually exceptional service throughout are stay. She took the initiative on various things, from getting medication delivered to advice on best places to visit (and why). There are 3 floors, the main floor and upper floor rooms had floor to ceiling windows, no balconies, one elevator. The lower floor rooms had normal sized windows. The lowest floor rooms appeared not to have elevator access. Peeking in some of the rooms, the rooms with 4 beds (1 king, 2 twin), had no table and chairs, as did the rooms with 3 beds. The 4 beds appeared to be a tight fit. No “pet” animals here roaming the grounds. There is a large, very popular heated indoor pool kept at 32 degrees, but no swim up bar. The unheated outdoor pool was less used; however, we sat near there a lot, under a large covered area that frequently had live music. Lots of kids and organized activities for them throughout the property, the whole experience felt like being on a cruise ship. Your room key lets you into the adjacent included water park, open but not heavily used in the cooler season we were there. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, quality hotel with a great breakfast. Staff in the restaurant, the bar and at reception were all polite and helpful. Cleaning staff were the quiet achievers doing their tasks well without being obtrusive. Highly recommend.
