"I had to travel to Wewoka for business. I was a little nervous being able to find a hotel in such a rural area. Let me tell you, this hotel is FANTASTIC!! The staff is wonderful and friendly. The hotel is CLEAN! The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The hot breakfast was better than expected. There was an egg casserole with potatoes, cooked peppers and onions on the side, biscuits & gravy, a waffle maker, and plenty of other options. The restaurant next door closed down. The only places to eat in town are Sonic or a Mexican place, but it's a short drive to restaurants and places to eat in neighboring towns. There is a Walmart about 15 mins away which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!"

"Cabin was very comfortable, clean and homey. The bedroom was roomy with a very comfortable bed. There was a large, full size hot water heater which provided more than adequate hot water! Wooded area with access to backwaters of the lake was lovely. Overall very wonderful experience. Only negative: it was very hard to find initially; asked for directions at Sinclair station in Stratford and they were familiar with property and gave us great directions. I would highly recommend this property!"

"Brian and Kelsey were AWESOME hosts! They quickly responded to any question or request and bent over backwards to accommodate our various needs. Different family members needed combinations of: Gluten-free, dairy-free, low-fat, sugar-free, caffeine-free and some none of the above, but they made sure there was something for everyone. The only real complaints I heard were how noisy the main room was (due to the concrete floor and arched metal ceiling) and a few potential hazards (such as wide rung spacing on the loft).There are a few details that are not clear on the Vrbo listing, including that they keep animals on the ranch which include some more exotic ones like water buffalo. The hunters of the family want to come back sometime to hunt and the fishers caught and released plenty over several short sessions. The food was AMAZING, not only because it freed up the family to focus on spending time with each other, but also because it was SO delicious! Brian is a MASTER of smoked meats (especially brisket) and Kelsey really knows how to pair it with great sides (like her white chili Mac and cheese)! Even the VEGETABLES disappeared (the green beans were unbelievable and even the broccoli was tasty!)But, despite how wonderful all that was, I would say the highlights of my interaction with them were when I caught Kelsey singing along with our praise and worship session and when Brian volunteered to bless the food!There's just not enough room to say all the good things here!"

"Pictures on website and VRBO make the property look nice for a get-a-way. Once you arrive you will be blown away. The pictures do not do it justice. The little cabins are absolutely beautifully designed and built. The decks on the cabin make it perfect to sit and overlook the pond onto the winery. The property owners are amazing and the friendliest host I have ever met while staying somewhere. We will definitely be back!!"

"The property met all of our requirements and then some! We specifically wanted a rural rental where we could watch storms without the city lights and noise drowning out the storm - or simply to enjoy peace and quiet away from the city. The best part about this property is the tornado shelter right on the property. Considering the location (high tornado risk) I felt like this amenity definitely needed to be highlighted. The shelter eases your mind so you can sit back and fully enjoy 100% of your vacation even in the event the weather turns ominous. The gate at the driveway entrance makes for added security and peace of mind. The property itself is clean, modern and comfortable. In addition to the home being high above our expectations, the property is enormous, and there are so many places to explore whether by foot or kayak. A game room with SEVERAL options. Books, puzzles, board games, telescope…or if you just want to relax after being in the car for 13 hours, hit up the hot tub. The lil “gift shop” came in handy day one. My husband didn’t pack a baseball cap and the horseflies were annoying him. He was able to pick a cap up for a very reasonable price. Host (Carol) is fantastic. Communicates promptly, effectively and manages the property like a well oiled machine. The storm the day before we left was the icing on our vacation cake. Great double rainbow!This is by far our favorite rental that we have discovered, and we look forward to booking again."
