“I got a single at Garden House and paid for the pick-up service from the airport. As a solo female traveler, I was nervous about staying here by myself, but everything was great! Gerardo picked me up right on time, safely drove me to the property, and showed me around the house. The managers kindly shared go-to spots around San Jose and nearby areas. The room was clean and tidy (and had AC). There are beautiful plants everywhere and an adorable little dog named Holly. Lastly, the breakfast was……

“Very kind staff. The hotel is located very close to the airport, the bus station, and many shops. It is also very close to Volcano Poas. The free breakfast is a delicious and filling traditional Costa Rican breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.”

“The staff was very kind and courteous. It is a family run business as are many smaller hotels in Costa Rica. We felt safe and secure. It was a very basic room , but it was clean and comfortable. Again, the staff was the best.”

“Beautiful hacienda with gorgeous grounds, huge room and great air conditioning. Beds were comfortable and large. We were served a free hot breakfast on the veranda which was lovely and unexpected. The surrounding location is fairly industrial so we were surprised when we saw the huge gate open and the oasis within.”

“A nice place with a fantastic breakfast! Parking was initially tricky but Dora was very helpful. To be fair we got in late.”
