Worth a try if you want to stay in calm and beautiful surroundings. The owner/hosts are really friendly and welcoming.

This is rather rustic lodging and for the price of another local place we stayed, we felt it was expensive comparatively. Parking is a gravel lane walk to a garage downhill. Unfortunately for the owners (and guests), long-awaited construction was finally taking place due to spring rain. Obviously out of the control of the owner, it still was an inconvenience of which we knew nothing about ahead of time. Amenities are sparse. Make sure to bring your own shampoo/conditioner, soap, lotion, etc. They are not provided. The only mirror was above the bathroom sink. We had a dressy event to attend and we could not see anything below our neck in the mirror! A simple full-length mirror on the back of the bathroom door would have been nice. Breakfast was amazing and the owners were kind.

Lantligt hotell med egen pool i närheten av Alba. Måste ha bil för att nå Alba. Frukostbuffén var i minsta laget och brödet var inte färskt. Trevligt värdpar som tog hand om oss som gäster.

Merci Frederica. Cet arrêt d’une nuit a été la plus belle surprise de notre voyage. Cet hébergement est une grande maison (une ferme) sur le terrain d’un vignoble. Si ça vous enchante de vous réveiller sur un cocorico au milieu de collines italiennes, vous serez bien servi! Les chambres sont confortables bien équipées. Le personnel est chaleureux et très accueillant. Il y a juste 8 chambres dans la maison alors faites vites!

Een plek om vaak terug te komen

Een heerlijke week verbleven wij juli 2021 in Casa Ressia. Deze agritourismo ligt heel landelijk met rondom uitzicht op het Piemontse heuvellandschap. Het historische centrum van Alba ligt op slechts 3 km afstand, achter de eerstvolgende heuvel. We werden door de eigenaren heel hartelijk ontvangen. Zij verzorgden oa door hun kennis een fantastisch verblijf in de Piemontese slowfood regio. De agrarische activiteiten zijn druiventeelt en productie van hazelnoten. Beperkt worden ook eigen producten verkocht met een uitgebreide toelichting en proeverij. Charmant informeerden zij dagelijks naar onze ervaringen en wensen, waardoor wij ons erg thuisvoelden op hun prachtige agritorisme met 7 appartementen van circa 40 m2. Hun kennis en contacten met uitstekende restaurantjes in de omgeving en hun tips over bezienswaardige plaatsjes completeerden het verblijf in een prachtige rustige accommodatie. Het uitstekende ontbijt werd door het mooie weer coronaproof uitgeserveerd op het terras met een prachtig uitzicht.
