Love The Lake View
Was very pleased with everything at this house. Grandkids loved the game room and we loved our space in livingroom. Very close to Wisdom Dock and we had a slip, made experience even better. I'll be back for sure!

Great cabin with overall good cleanliness. Easy access for disabled. Beautiful view of corner of lake. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Enough seating for all and nice, big TVs. Be aware the TVs have a lot of streaming but no local channels (no antenna). Also be aware you must bring your own soap and shampoo.

Beautiful home and stay!!
Just as described, couldn’t ask for anything else just wished we could of stayed longer! The kids enjoyed the basement game room and there was plenty of space for our family to enjoy! Being so close to wisdom dock was a big plus. They were great, we rented a boat slip which was very convenient to keep our boat docked under roof all week. Highly recommend, will plan to rent again in the future.

In the past we have stayed at motels when coming to DHL for boating but it seems this VRBO option is better for us. Closer to the lake. Easier access to Wisdom Resort. Price comparison favorable when all factors considered. This cabin is a great choice.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. It was perfect for my family and the view is beautiful. My kids loved playing in the game room. We hope to stay at the home again.

Absolutely Perfect
Everything was as it appears in the listing. The weather forced us to remain indoors a great deal more than expected. But if you’re going to be stuck indoors, this amazing lil home is the place to do so. Definitely pleased with our experience.

Loved this lake get away!
Our family had such a great weekend together. We had 6 adults and 2 children and never felt crowded. We all fit comfortably around the dinner table and for viewing the lake from the back porch. The basement game room was our favorite place to hangout together after a long day on the lake. The dock was super close which was exactly what we needed. I cant say enough about how clean the house was. The owners added so many special touches to really make it feel like a vacation lake house. They were also on top of all communication with us when the power went out (in the whole area) due to a storm. Loved the hospitality! We will be back!

Jackpot - Perfect Place
Took a chance with no reviews and hit jackpot. Everything was perfect. Clean & comfortable. 3 mins to dock and 3 queen bedrooms were real nice plus two separate living/rec rooms with sofa bed/futon and foosball game. Dale Hollow has become our favorite lake – not too crowded, calm, warm water in early June, very easy and relaxing. A boating paradise. We didn’t get back till 8:30p each day and just slept and ate there. Ask Matt (owner) for our contact info for detail questions. Oddball stuff if you rent: - Pollen/dew falling from trees in morning sounds like rain. - Car port is tight. Don’t open a door into the 1’ brick wall you won’t see in the car. - Slip rental was only $30 at Safe Harbor Wisdom Dock (in lieu of $10 launch fee) - A/C works real good, but it is on timers so check thermostat when you walk in. - We brought a large pancake griddle which sped things up in the morning. - There is 2 full baths with one in the MBR. - The lower level rec room gets cool at night sleeping. - The propane grill there worked well. - There is one blind hill you go over driving to it where you bear left. Use the map texted by owner was easy. - Everything was clean. Kitchen recently updated. - Microwave is high tech. Press the play button. I like simpler ones. - Bring the food you need. Albany KY is 15 minute drive with grocery store. - We left location of cliff jumping and a rope swing in the guest book. - House has a welcome book with everything you need to know.
