Gruphotel Conil Playa was our first ever Adults-only hotel experience and it was nice not having splashing, noisy kids at the pool for a change. This property is only 5-years old, super modern and airy, spacious with beautiful fish sculptures honoring the “Atún Rojo” (bluefin tuna) for which this region is famous. Our partial sea view room with balcony was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was better than any we’ve ever seen, including bottles of open Cava (Spanish bubbly) that can be paired with nearby orange juice for a Mimosa, if desired. Made to order omelette station or ready-made freshly fried eggs (instead of scrambled eggs under a hood). We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Snack Bar and a dip in one of their multiple pools and sun bathing. Our beach time was with friends in nearby Palmar, so we didn’t walk down the path (and stairs?) to the hotel’s nearby beach. This is a hotel and chain that we will gladly book again in our future travels!

Our stay was wonderful. Breakfast and dinner was fabulous. The grounds were beautiful. Will definitely be back. A hidden gem.

Loved the location of this hotel . Right off the square of the Cathedral . Restaurants , shopping and the beach promenade right outside door . Super central . Easy walk from bus station . We loved the Hop On Hop Off Bus for the elevated view around the city but it is a walkable place. Make sure you find your way to the beach for a great vibe and too many great restaurants and bars to count! The hotel itself very clean and comfortable beds . My room looked right over square & Cathedral. I loved the sound of the bells 🔔! The rooftop pool is a beautiful space to relax and you can sip an adult beverage from their well stocked bar .
