Not only was it very clean but they used labels to help you find out which light switches turned on what and where things went so we could easily find/use whatever we needed in the cabin. There was only one dish towel but the other linens provided were fine. Only suggestion would be more dishtowels. The beds were comfortable, so was the couch! We loved our stay!"

"We were four family/friends away for a weekend of hiking and relaxation. The cabin is in a wonderful area with excellent prospects for exploring the outdoors. We hiked a small portion of the Appalachian Trail and also visited Harpers Ferry. We could have simply sat on the porch with a book as well, since the view is very relaxing. The host was attentive and helpful. Although our stay was short, we enjoyed our time at the cabin!"

"We frequently rent houses for this kind of "long weekend getaway" and our overall experience at Rebels Rest was what we hoped it would be. The view is AMAZING, the location is private and quiet, the house is decorated with personality, the furniture is comfortable and there's a surprising amount of usable space. We had a few issues with appliances but management was quick to respond. There were spots where some additional painting/cleaning/upgrading would be appreciated but our stay was really...

"My husband and I enjoyed a weekend at the cabin. We found it clean, comfortable and well equipped. We brought food and didn't feel the need to drive anywhere. We popped a bottle of wine and grilled steaks on the charcoal grill. Caution it is a very small grill. The road to the house and driveway were a bit daunting and I was grateful we arrived during daylight. Quite steep. I'd be cautious arriving or leaving in the dark. We explored the mountain and got some exercise by walking up to the top...

"A very quiet and relaxing stay. Loved going for walks with my dog and not seeing another person or car around. Could use a new shower curtain as it had mildew on the bottom which was gross. Towels are quite thin. Bring soap for the shower. Kitchen has all the essentials. Couches and beds are comfy. Enough blankets for a cozy sleep. Overall a great stay and would recommend this house to others."

Always answered questions within minutes the house was very clean very quiet neighborhood. It was a beautiful place to stay I would also live if they ever want to sell it I would definitely take it very big driveway nice backyard, and very close to restaurants in places of interest I would give it 10 stars, but the only take five"

"If you have kids you'd like to unplug and let bike, fish, or feed farm animals, this is the place! The staff are so kind and friendly. They delivered us fresh eggs our first day! The ponds are stocked so bring rods. Our 9-year-old caught his first largemouth bass all on his own. Also, George Washington stayed in a stone cottage out back. They set up a copy of his writing about it. We highly recommend this hidden gem!"

We enjoyed the hot tub, views, and wood burning stove. We were close enough to the park to enjoy a day hike too."
