"Had a lovely stay at the Homestead Cabin. It's as described, quite 'rustic'. Only drawback was the proximity both to neighbors and to highway, which was a surprise to us only because we hadn't looked closely at the map. Fortunately, the beautiful creek mostly covers the highway sounds and bushes separate the yard from neighbors. Amazing access to Yellowstone, which was our primary aim, anyway. Hosts are friendly and helpful."

"We’ve stayed here many times to the point where I’ve lost track. It rained for most of the time but we soaked at Chico and also had a wonderful meal at their dining room. We watched movies and read a lot. We also prepared our own meals using the fully stocked kitchen. A new addition was the the wifi, which I was grateful for as I was able to monitor my home and greenhouse remotely. Had it been nicer weather, we would have hiked up to Emigrant Creek Falls. We’ve also taken our bikes several times...

"The Barn House at Slip and Slide Rach is the perfect place to stay when visiting Yellowstone National Park. The house is very comfortable for two people or a family group. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The host has stocked the house so well that all you need is to visit the grocery store in Gardiner for food. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the mountains each evening. I would rate the Barn House 10 out of 10!"
