Expedia listed the stay at $72 after all fees. I was charged an extra $9 for booking fee at check-in. This isn’t the reason for poor ratings. Rated poorly due to the terrible bed, bathroom and poor condition of the room overall. I’d suggest skipping the Budget Inn of Long Prairie,MN.

Room was adequate. The shower head only came up to my chest and the shower area was small. It is obvious the place was built many years ago when people were shorter. It is well maintained but needs some remodeling.

First, staff were very hard to understand. I called the office to get the Wifi password, and ended up having to walk to the office to get it. Secondly, there was no ice available. Thirdly, the bathtub drained very slowly when taking a shower. Thirdly, the bathroom was not clean. Fourth, there was an extra $12 fee tacked on the original price which should have been $94.00, not $106.00. The staff said it was an Expedia charge. I was not aware of that. The price is not worth the stay for a run-down, outdated hotel room. I'll never use Expedia again and will never stay at that hotel again!!!!

Never again.

In addition to the reservation amount that was booked on hotels.com, this hotel adds another $10. The hotel room smelled bad. The bed was hard. I had to call 911 in the middle of the night because the next door neighbor tried to open my door - a homeless drunk guy the county put up there for the night
