Alojarse en el apartamento de Medina será como experimentar el encanto del pasado y respirar la brisa mediterránea. La casa da a la plaza central del centro histórico de Alghero. Para conocer y pasar sus vacaciones en Alghero no necesitará un automóvil. Todos los servicios son a domicilio, como el mar, las playas, el puerto deportivo. Todo lo que tiene que hacer es tomar un vuelo en avión y sus vacaciones comenzarán de inmediato. El aeropuerto está a solo 10 km del centro de Alghero y está fácilmente conectado con un servicio de autobús que para a solo 5 minutos de la casa. La casa está ubicada en el centro histórico, el área está cerrada al tráfico. El edificio histórico en el que se encuentra el apartamento de Medina, tiene ascensor y tiene una vista maravillosa con terrazas en la plaza central del centro histórico de Alghero, y desde la casa se puede llegar a pie a todos los lugares de interés. Desde el puerto deportivo puede alquilar un bote e ir al descubrimiento de la maravillosa costa de la Riviera del Coral o puede pasar un día en un barco con una excursión de turismo de pesca. El luminoso apartamento, en el corazón del centro histórico, se encuentra dentro de un área de tráfico restringido, donde está prohibido el acceso a los automóviles, pero si desea llegar en automóvil, hay un amplio estacionamiento a poca distancia público, en la plaza de la paz, donde puedes estacionar tu auto. From the moment we arrived, our host, Maria and her assistant Silvi, made everything seamless—check-in was quick, informative, and stress-free. We did encounter a brief issue with the Wi-Fi, but it was resolved within the hour, which speaks volumes about the attentiveness and responsiveness of our host.The apartment itself was a gem, perched above Alghero’s charming historic center. It is a large and bright 1st floor apartment on Piazza Civica, offering a front-row seat to daily life in Alghero. This 2 bedroom apartment had air conditioning and was well suited for cooking your own meals, as well being supplied with fresh linens and extra towels. The view alone made it feel like we were part of the town’s rhythm. We quickly realized that a car was unnecessary—everything we needed was within easy reach. My husband, who has some mobility challenges, navigated the area comfortably with just a bit of added caution, no more than he would need anywhere else. The terrain was manageable, and the town’s layout proved surprisingly accommodating.We explored extensively on foot and with the help of a rented scooter we had effortless access to the surrounding neighborhoods and coastal paths. Se hospedó 5 noches en septiembre de 2025 ### 6/10 Aceptable #### Alessandro Viaje familiar 26 ago. 2025 La posizione centralissima in area pedonale è un pregio se si è alla ricerca di locali e persone, tante persone, per il resto è un problema, se hai la macchina i parcheggi sono distanti e spesso a pagamento anche notturno; il wi-fi non funziona, il ristorante sottostante trasuda l’odore acre di olio fritto che risale la scalinata del palazzo e permea l’appartamento; i condizionatori nelle camere da letto sono senza unità esterna come è normale nei centri storici, ma purtroppo rumorosi nel silenzio della notte, reso tale dagli ottimi infissi che isolano acusticamente. Great cocktails up the street in Caju. Grocery Shop 10/12min walk from the apartment. If like me you arrive by car, it is a little difficult to find a free car space. The two balconies with the view of the small square is as per the photos, and the apartment is very spacious, with two great couches in the living room to lounge in. It's a big, bright, clean flat with a full ktichen, which is great since we cooked many of our own meals. And there are two full bathrooms, so it's really a comfortable setup. But keep in mind that since you are in the heart of the city, it's not always going to be peaceful, with the weekend nights being particularly boisterous. And there are street musicians they play regularly in the square, so you'll have a front row seat to the show. But that was part of the entertainment for us, and was to be expected. And the weekday nights were surprisingly quiet, but you will hear the sound of the early morning trash collectors on some days. There were just a few minor points--- it would have been nice to have some dishcloths for the kitchen to use, and having soem beach towels to use would have been a bonus. And the bed in the main bedroom is, although comfortable, makes quite a bit of squeaking noises even when just barely moving around, so that could be adjusted. But the feeling of being able to stay in the beating heart of the city was well worth it, so i can recommend it and am looking forward to returning soon! ##### Mark G. Great facilities including washing machine and fully equipped kitchen. Our welcome wine was delicious. If you love cafe life this is the place for you. Two good size bedrooms and a large living area with a nice modern kitchen. View from the balconies over the square gives you a great opportunity to see the town in action. The location is right in the middle of the old town with very easy walking access to everything. That does though mean that you get the noise etc from the restaurants underneath and behind the apartment at night but that’s worth it for the location. Good and easy communication with the property managers. Would definitely recommend if you want to visit Alghero. ##### Jonathan N. Very nicely appointed, comfortable beds, good air conditioning, great supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. We booked the Medina Apartment as a family of four for our summer holiday. We were attracted by its central location, proximity to restaurants, harbourside and beach and it certainly did not disappoint. It is a clean, beautifully decorated and spacious apartment right in the heart of the old town with absolutely everything you might need for a short (or longer) stay in Alghero. Despite its location, the double glazed windows provided effective noise reduction. Air conditioning was very welcome! We found the washing line outside the kitchen window very useful each day. Maria was so helpful throughout all stages of the holiday experience and provided a comprehensive list of recommended restaurants and local sights/excursions. We were so grateful to her for allowing us access to check in early following our early morning flight and for arranging a taxi for us to return to Fertilla airport. Thank you to Alessandra too for the early morning checkout. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Alghero, especially families and we would love to return again one day. Thank you! We had a fantastic stay in this perfectly located flat. Maria was quick in his responses and provided us with an excellent experience, nice from the start to the end. The flat was comfortable, clean, and well organized. This was my fourth time in Alghero and I would definitely stay here again. Definitely recommend this place Such an amazing apartment close to absolutely everything we never needed to take a taxi anywhere! The house is full of light and not noisy at all. We were expecting noise because of the position. But not at all. Alessandra was so helpful and friendly . The apartment was iper clean and had everything we needed, from Air conditioning to Internet Wifi, from oven to microwave. The location was ideal for getting to all the sites on foot, central to everything and only 2 minutes from the sea and touristic port. Bus terminal for reach the airport is only 4 minutes away. There were good restaurants and a grocery very nearby. The price is very reasonable if compared with the quality. Definitely recommend this place. ##### Virginie M.
