“The overall experience was great. The staff is friendly and responsive. I particularly liked the food served at Aqua, which is why I was disappointed at the food quality from Carnivorous. The food was served luke warm at best and the meats did not meet the standards one would expect from a reservations only establishment. Maybe you should take a cue from the food consumption and wastage on a night by night basis at Carnivorous.”

“I just want to say our welcome to Konokono Beach Resort and Isaraya was one of the Kingly Experience too bad we had to spend just a night evening and morning. The General manager was so professional and very understanding. My wife did not want to leave this place. If you are looking for serenity, quite and privacy. This is definetly the place you wanna be in. Very big shout out to all the staffs these guys are five star experts and they treat all guests with the same energy and kindness. Most……

“We enjoyed our stay at the Le Mersenne and loved the detail and design of the room. Well appointed. The service was great, location is close to Paje Beach and the Treehouse Restaurant but also far from Stone Town and other popular beaches so plan to either book a driver or rent a car. We booked a scooter thru the hotel and traveled to Paje. DJ played great music at the hotel. We loved the vibe! With that said, a few things to be noted … Limited food options and we grew bored of the pricey……

“The property was great , the staff was great however my stay was not pleasant due to beach vendors harassing tourist at all times I couldn’t go swim in ocean because they wouldn’t leave me alone, and even after I told them I was not interested in anything from them they proceeded to disrespect me and say rude things. Because of this I will only return to Zanzibar if the hotel has a private beach because the harassment from the local vendors and the so called “ Masai” people is wayyyyy too much,……
