“Came to Elkader for a quiet stay, not disappointed. Katherine and Michael were excellent hosts, unit 1 exceptionally clean and cozy. Hotel quality linens, modern unit with homey touches. Loved Michael’s breakfast in the morning. Ate dinner at St. Olaf Tavern, would recommend, short drive from Elkader. One block to Turkey River, nice areas to sit along the river. Elkader has other good restaurant options right in town.”

“The inn is beautiful, with many nice touches. The room was clean and stylish. Barb & Jeff were delightful... super friendly & helpful. They went out of their way to make sure everyone had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious and they made sure that everyone's dietary issues were addressed. They clearly love what they're doing. The absolute only negative was that there is a train crossing nearby and the train horn awakened us a few times. We would definitely be back if we're ever in the...
