“We loved the owners! They were so nice and fun to talk to. Wish they were our neighbors! Their place is so peaceful. We sat on the deck and watched a beautiful sunset! Life is good! The breakfast was great and eating in their round cute barn they built was a highlight!! Can't say enough good things about this place. See it for yourself!!”

“This home is in a wonderful location with so much to do nearby and quick, easy access to other parts of the Des Moines area. The host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The house was overall clean except for some areas in the bathrooms. The off-street parking is a huge plus!”

“The house was just as Steven described it. It was clean and just the perfect size for the 5 of us. We were so thankful for all of the amenities (washer/dryer, Keurig, ability to make breakfasts, comfortable beds). The house was nice and cool on those hot Iowa summer days. We were in town for a ball tournament so we needed to have cold drinks and snacks for all of us. The refrigerator was good sized and there was plenty of cabinet and counter space.Steven was excellent at responding to any……

“We were thrilled with the quiet, comfortable, spacious room. It was great for sleeping and for reading. The house and property are beautiful and fascinating historically and architecturally. The hosts were incredibly kind and even helped us out with a car issue. Breakfasts were generous and delicious--quiche, coffee cake, fruit salad, etc. We had a great time and were well pleased.”
