The rooms were quite clean, but overall the place is quite dated. The room was very musty so we left the windows open for the duration of the 1 night stay because we weren't convinced the air conditioner would do the job. There was a microwave and coffeemaker but we didn't use them and there wasn't any coffee anyways. If you are looking for a quiet place to lay your head this is the ticket. It you plan to spend alot of time in the room you likely want to stay elsewhere.

This is like an elevated hostel, so you have to know what you're signing up for. As long as you understand that the rooms are minimalistic, this hotel's location and price can't be beat. We had no issues with noise and it was very clean. The lounge space is also lovely, with laundry, vending machines, a coffee machine (have to pay), air fryer, fridge, microwave and lots of space to sit and play games or watch TV. This was our 2nd stay and we will certainly be back.

"We love going to Mill River every year and we aren’t even golfers! They’ve renovated the resort beautifully with local art, wool blankets and great style. The only place that could use improvement is the slow service at the restaurant and maybe a chef would help improve it. The staff are amazing ..."
