This eco-friendly cabin was designed with sustainability and comfort in mind. The cabin features a full bath with stand-up shower and all the essentials, a Sleep Number queen bed, and a pull-out couch to accommodate two additional guests. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishes, and utensils. Dishes are washed in the shed and the water used for a 30 gal. pond. Enjoy cooking on the two-burner gas cooktop or grill located on the porch. A propane firepit is provided for cozy evenings on the porch, and a traditional firepit is also available, though please note that wood fire use may be restricted during a county-wide burn ban. It had everything we could possibly need or want. It is definitely remote but those stars you could see so vividly. Bob is informative and really nice by messenger. Owners were not present during our stay but regardless it wouldn’t have been an issue for me. Glad we pre-bought our snacks/drinks because there are no grocery stores or gas station near by. We drove to Big Bend everyday to hike and we bought a couple of things from a small grocery store to cookout at the house versus eating out, we loved the setup to cook and star gaze at the same time. It Is a drive to and from the park but what you get at this house versus what’s to rent in Terlingua Definitely out weighs it. We plan on going back to off road in the park and I will definitely book this house again. The property was clean and cozy, exactly as advertized. The owner does have a place onsite, as stated in the listing. They were not there while we were, but had they been, it may have been a bit too close. Again, its listed as such and the pictures are acurate. I suppose I let my imagination assume it was a bit further away. Er selbst war stets sehr hilfreich und hat auch sofort geantwortet und geholfen, als wir kurz eine neue Gasflasche brauchten.Das Objekt war leicht zu finden, auch wenn es eine gute Zeit zu fahren ist bis man da ist. Dafür ist es sehr ruhig und Bob hat ein paar Installationen, wo auch Tiere hinkommen. So gibt es beispielsweise eine Vogeltränke und Vogelfutter und auch ein Wasserbecken wo Abend ein Javelina und ein Koyote waren.
