Located 3 blocks south of historical Murphy Street and a short walking distance from downtown Alpine. This is a very comfortable and spacious home with everything you would need for your stay in the area. It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. All 3 bedrooms have a queen size bed. Motorcycle trip to Big Bend
We, along with 2 other couples rode in from Dallas to visit Big Bend. This was the perfect place to relax after a full day of riding. Host was helpful and quick to respond when we had questions.

Loved floor plan! One shower had sign asking us not to use it, and another note said not to go out on balcony, things we we looked forward to doing. No downstairs smoke alarm. Place needs some repair, paint. But we still had a great time there.

Big Bend
Everything was good, only needs a few thing handles which would make a great stay. 1. Needed more linens 2. Needs new kitchen pots and pans. Clean Frying Pans. 3. Make sure all trash is emptied from trash cans. 4. Up stairs balcony needs repairs. Alpine in the future will be a great place to visit. An investment would insure good more guests.

Crash Pad for Seeing Big Ben
It was relaxing for the adults & came equipped with all the amenities. It had fun things for the kids included as well!. Upstairs shower & jacuzzi we’re a big hit.

Perfect for a group
I came with friends and my daughters for a long weekend to watch a volleyball game and football game. This was the perfect house to stay in for a group. Everyone had their own space but also we could come together in the game room to hang out. We carved pumpkins in the back yard and decorated cookies in the kitchen. The big kids played pool while we watched a baseball game on the big tv in the game room. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.

Very comfortable home in the town of Alpine Texas. Minutes from anywhere in town and gateway to McDonald Observatory and Big Bend. Very rare traffic on this residential street. Some night noise from trains and barking dogs. The home is cute and well equipped. Ralph lives nearby and was very responsive. Easy check in and check out. I am very glad we stayed here.

Very nice comfortable house.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was in an area that contained some of the oldest buildings in Alpine. Old area but wonderful. Really enjoyed the town and Sul Ross State University. Beautiful campus.

Lovely Home
Thank you for welcoming us into your home! The entire process was stress free. Ryan was so helpful with pre-arrival questions and Ralph was so helpful upon arrival. The decor was lovely and the location and layout of the home were perfect for our crew. Nice, quiet location combined with beautiful weather, made for perfect coffee drinking on the porch. We hope to stay again when in Alpine!

Plenty of space for four
The house was comfortable and roomy enough to spread out. The kids enjoyed the pool also. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. And it was convenient for day trips. Only drawbacks were the bathtub faucets were hard to adjust, and the neighbor's dog barked at night occasionally. I would recommend this place to others..

we rented the house for the express purpose of feeding my son's team the Alpine cowboys They absolutely loved the game room / pool table ( and the food) and felt it gave them a nice place to relax and socialize. It was perfect for our needs The neighbors were super nice and Ralph was helpful as well Will definitely rent again And if you go to a cowboys game and # 19 hits a home run, put a little extra in the hat!

Really nice, relaxing, homey rental.
We had a very nice experience with our rental. Ralph, the owners father responded very quickly to any request we made. Minor issue. The teen boys really loved the pool table. Actually, we all did. We had a tournament one evening. I lost! But it was really great to interact with my grandson and his friend. Had some deer pass by one evening. We were sad that we did not get to spend more time relaxing, but it was a short vacation and we had a lot to do in a limited amount of time. My ONLY downfall was the front bedroom, where I slept, did not have vents so it didn't cool off. Was very warm trying to sleep. Maybe a fan would help. Other than the ceiling fan. It did not help much.

Big Ben Ride
We had a great time the house was wonderful we enjoyed cooking on the grill at night and watching the deer go by late in the afternoon. It was nice and quiet at night if we go to Big Ben again we would stay there again.

Very comfortable home. Very clean. Everything we needed was there - fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms. Lots of cozy blankets. Loved the pool table and bar. Nice place to hang out! We LOVED it!
We LOVED our stay at this home in Alpine. This was my grandparents first time staying in a vacation rental as opposed to a hotel and they will never go back to hotels after this. This was my first family vacation as an adult with my grandparents and we made so many wonderful memories. As a HomeAway/VRBO employee, this home was everything we could have wanted for our trip! Ryan and Ralph were both very accommodating. The home is fully stocked with everything you would need for a trip. Did I mention how *cute* this place is?! The pictures don't do it justice! After a day of exploring West Texas we loved coming back home to the game room to play a quick game of pool and watch our favorite sports teams. We visit the Alpine area frequently and we will be renting this home again!
