When I checked in at the café next door? the lady had to deal with her café customers first then proceeded to fight argue and literally curse - f words included - at her ancient printer then finally after a good 20-25 minutes decided it just wouldn't work then had me sign a paper to check in..no receipt given..we prodeeded to our room which was approximate 50 yds from Interstate 5 ..neither I nor my husband slept at all..then at check out was given a short lecture from young woman at the cafe/check in desk that I still could not get a receipt..she would email me later..I mentioned that considering the awful experience what i paid for the room seemed a bit excessive..she then replied.." Yah things are really expensive??? Expensive had nothing to do with it...ridiculous is more what I was thinking..please save yourself the hassle and headache..stay in Mt Shasta..and as a food service business owner the health and safety violations in the cafe alone would keep me up at night..no handwashing or anything before switching back and forth between motel and cafe service. I would have fired them all!!!
