"So much better than any Motel in Alturas! If you have more than 2 people its cheaper as well. It was spotless with paper covers on the toliets saying sanitized, WOW that is attention to detail. The decor was very nice. It was comfy. We will be coming back in the future when we are in the area again. The host was so attentive and nice. You will not be dissapointed."

"My wife and I were amazed and absolutely overwhelmed by the hospitable nature of this home! We could not have felt more welcome! In addition, the size of this vacation rental was more than enough for us. In fact, we have family living in Alturas and visit them from Denver at least twice a year! The Gooseloop Getaway 3 Bedroom house

10/10 Excellent

"This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town. Entire house was extremely clean and updated. So many amenities - TV’s, great WiFi service, barbeque and patio set outside. Air conditioning was nice to have on a few warm days. If you forgot something, don’t worry, it’s probably available in the house. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook and the sparkling bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. Comfortable beds! The host is very nice and responds quickly to your messages. We really enjoyed everything at Gooseloop Getaway and would definitely stay here again. "
