Tremendously friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfasts. Best pool at any hotel I’ve ever stayed. Not full size, but a competitive swimmer can actually do laps without it being a turn-fest.

It is a beautiful property conveniently located in the Herat of Ravello. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The sea view was amazing!

Cold, relying on location and old name
Not very friendly at all. I got in around 8 from driving all day and the restaurant manager intentionally left me waiting at the entrance of the restaurant for 15 minutes before coming over to say that it was 9 and they couldn't do anything. Most all the restaurants were closed nearby and I hadnt eaten all day. Extremely discourteous, especially as a paying guest of the hotel. General attitude of displeasure when speaking with staff. Cold. The first room I went into (of which they had a very light occupancy at the time of the year) had a giant stain on the bedding, was hot with not fan or window, and a very weak wifi connection. Only until I asked for a new room was I shown a room feeling Im a bother.

Our stay was just okay. The rooms were small and the beds were uncomfortable. The staff wasn’t very helpful with making reservations. It was beautiful but an older hotel.

Hotel Rufolo Ravello
Nice property located in ravello, pros: checkin was stress free and both ladies at reception were very kind and welcoming, swimming pool, amazing view from swimming pool of the sea, walking distance to the piazza and the bus stop at ravello to visit amalfi coast and other places along the coast. Cons: 1. avoid breakfast at the hotel and rather eat at the cafes which are in walking distance to the piazza (50m distance) 2. Rooms in need of refurbishment 3. The lady at Checkout was rude and we had an unpleasant experience. We had taken out 2 bottles from the minibar and kept it outside to make room for the juice we got from outside, she instead charged us and started accusing us when we said that the water bottles were not used by us and kept outside the minibar. The checkout was stressful because of that lady. The management must counsel the lady on customer service. 4. No Uber available so we had to take the local taxi to praiano which was expensive - 80 euros for one way transfer. 5. Hotel is

If you expect a quiet stay, this wouldn’t be the spot. Second floor hotel rooms are directly under the restaurant that has tiled floor. If there is an event (which I understand might be only some weekends in the summer) you won’t be able to sleep. After the wedding ended at 12:30am seems like the entire restaurant was being rearranged with heavy furniture being dragged around till about 2am. I suggest you call ahead to verify what you should expect during your stay. Otherwise hotel would be quite enjoyable, clean and with a lovely view. Staff do not seem to care though if you log a complaint.

Ravello is a beautiful town, and the Hotel Rufolo is a perfect complement to the city and the experience offing there. Rooms are large, tastefully decorated, with multiple storage cabinet/bureaus, and views to die for of the Amafi coast. Highly recommended. Location is excellent and right near the center of town.

The staff were friendly, and trustworthy and the facility was nice and safe. I would recommend booking this hotel over others in the area such as Villa Casale where our friends were locked out in the middle of the night and the host attempted to con them out of money. The hotel advert should have been clearer regarding the amount that would be required for city tax and parking because this was quite dear over a 5 night stay.

THe romance and warmth and beautiful architecture make up for a litlte tad of tiredness but it was a great place...beautiful terrace lunches, sweet helpful people everywhere....and a darling gorgeous front desk clerk who couldn't do enough to help...warm smile, total service attitude, solved at leasst a dozen challenges always with a big smile....wouldn't stay anywhere else...and we'll be back! right there.

Nice hotel close to the square.
Stayed at this hotel last week. Staff very helpful. Hotel very close to square with shops and restaurants as well as outside dining. Would stay at this hotel again.

Fabulous Hotel Rufulo
Great location - fabulous views from bedroom. Very helpful staff. There was a wedding the night we arrived which ended at midnight and then the staff tidied up until 1.30 in the morning - which was a little excessive - the restaurant is on top of the hotel and our suite was floor below so the noise was terrible. Apart from this it was a really fantastic stay.

We stayed in the deluxe sea view room for 5 nights and it was a very large and comfortable room. The only thing I would complain about is the poor amenities (no conditioner, the shampoo doubles as a body wash and therefore was super damaging to the hair). The service was very friendly and they give you towels if you would like to go to the beach or pool. Very close to the SITA bus stop and there is a tabacchi nearby as well so traveling to Atrani, Amalfi etc is very convenient. The hotel is also very close to the central piazza. Location is probably the most attractive aspect of the hotel. I did not try any food at the restaurant so I can’t comment on that.

Hotel Rufolo is situated in the best spot for a stay in beautiful Ravello. Unfortunately we found the staff to be very busy and stretched thin, especially in the restaurant area. At times staff came across rude and inconvenienced. We stayed with 2 children, and although the hotel has family suites, we could tell that the staff and some other guests were not happy to have children staying, even well behaved ones. Also, for the price, it would have been nice that breakfast been included.
