“The hotel has been created out of an old school and it’s lovely to see it given a new life. We liked having breakfast in the garden (which used to be the playground) and having a walk down to the fantastic beaches and cafes of Guethary. We had a room on the second floor and it was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was also big and very clean- but I prefer a separate shower. “The only reason I stayed was because I had a 6:45am flight to catch and the hotel is a 5 minute walk to Biarritz airport. It is a motel next to the highway and their electronics door keys did not work for me and another customer who checked in. Minimal amenities and a bit noisy as next to the highway. Room is small and bed not too comfortable. Asked for 5am morning call they said ok but ended up no one called. The only thing I like was the dinner at their restaurant which was surprisingly……

“The property is nice, the rooms are very clean. I love that there’s a lot of trees in the property and around. It is a little bit far from everything but there are markets nearby and the bus is really easy to take. My only complaint is that when we arrive, the man at the reception told us that we had not paid, he charged us for our stay, we could not get the receipt from Expedia because we had no Internet, and he would not give us Wi-Fi until we paid. “The chateau was absolutely perfect. The staff were kind and attentive, the room was beautiful, and the amenities were lovely! We would absolutely recommend this gem of a property.”

“Hôtel très bien situé et c’est son point fort. Un peu vieillot mais ça fait son charme. Par contre la personne à l’accueil n’y est quasiment jamais. Il délégue tout à sa femme de ménage même l’encaissement d’une facture de séjour…!! Nous aurions pu quitter notre chambre sans payer… Difficile à accepter vu le prix et le peu de chambres finalement. Voilà comment ce qui pourrait être une pépite se transforme en gâchis par le manque de professionnalisme d’une personne censée y travailler. Même en……
