"Beautiful place with everything you need for a quiet and comfortable stay away from the business of life.The cabin itself sits right next to a beautiful creek that has been meticulously maintained. Just above the creek there is a pond which has been stocked with fishfor catch and release fishing. We did see a couple different fish that were larger and several fish that still have some growing to do.The owner of this property has really done a great job all around and the attention to detail shows throughout the place.I really can’t say enough about how pleased we were during our stay.Everything was clean and well stocked.All necessary amenities were provided and the owner was very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with.We had the opportunity to see some local wildlife while we were there, we had a nice campfire under the stars and of course the Jacuzzi was an added benefit which we appreciated.We will definitely come back to this location for future vacations."

"This house was a perfect size for our family. The kids could watch tv in the back room, I could sit and read in the front room, the pool was huge, although the weather wasn't conducive for swimming, the fire pit in the front was a great spot for sipping wine and creating s'mores. A couple of the appliances needed maintenance but, hey, that happens. The house was well-appointed and we had a great time there. "
"This cabin is just as described. It felt like we were right at home. The bed was comfy. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need--we did cook a few meals here. We also checked out several of the local restaurants and towns. We enjoyed several evenings on the enclosed deck--it was just so nice to sit and listen to nature and be lost in your thoughts. The neighborhood is beautiful. There is a cabin next door that can be rented as well--we talked about having our kids/grandkids coming down to the area on another vacation. I would rate this as one of the best stays we've ever had thru a VRBO rental. I will definitely keep this one on my favorites list for a possible future stay."

While we were disappointed we weren't able to fully enjoy Lake Lure (due to the recovery from Helene), we were happy to come visit the area and support the local businesses while they work to rebuild. The property was convenient to many attractions and activities and Bob is an A host."

Very poor service trying to get a room ready for us. Was told they were full and no clean rooms. For 1 hour and 25 minutes??? Not Acceptable! "

"It was only an overnight stay, and the room was a bit spartan. However, it was quite clean and everything worked well. One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request."
