住宿简介

Rustic Girdwood Condo

  • Charming unit located in the New Girdwood townsite. A great spot to enjoy all things Girdwood including restaurants, parkland, the Crow Creek Mercantile and located adjacent the bike path. Moments away from Alyeska resort this unit is ''vintage'' and priced less than a studio condo near the lifts. Unit features include wood fireplace and Rinnai direct vent wall mount furnace. Association allows nightly rentals. Association amenities include on site laundry, sauna, and a common area lawn in back of the building.
Girdwood is a small Alaskan mountain town that sits amongst lush forest and is surrounded by the peaks of the Chugach Mountain Range. It is conveniently situated only 36 miles (61km) south of Anchorage, Alaska’s largest metropolis with an international airport. Girdwood is most definitely the place to escape your day-to-day grind and experience the best of Alaska.

Our stay was so comfortable and quiet! After a day of hiking, we wanted a nice place to relax and find some food. The restaurant next door was great and there’s a brewery right down the road. Next time we’re here, I would love to stay again!

Felt like home!

This is the most well equipped condo we’ve ever stayed in. It had everything from coffee to spices and pancake syrup. We loved the location right next to the grocery store and several tasty restaurants. Also, the beds were super comfortable. Our family of 4 would definitely stay here again.

Quick overnight after spa

Loved staying here for a little birthday weekend getaway with girlfriends. Love that it’s dog friendly and has dog bowls and treats. The unit was fully stocked with everything we could need (kitchen appliances, plenty of towels, games and movies, extra outdoor bug spray and bear spray, etc.) check in and out was super easy and the location is centrally located near the merc and restaurants.

Roomy

Roomy and well stocked. Seems to be an area with many short stay rentals. Grocery store right across the street and laundry available a few doors down. It looked like they were installing a washer/dryer in unit. Several restaurants nearby but we didnt get a chance to eat at any.

Great condo with convenient amenities!

Very clean and well appointed condo with more space than expected! The games were a fun touch and the couch was a perfect place to watch some shows together! Convenient coin op laundry within the condo. The mercantile across the street had everything you need for a meal in—including frozen pizza for the kids and wine for mom and dad!! Recommend this property!

The bed was comfortable, the building itselt is outdated and smells musty or something. Reminded me of a college dorm as the people above us wete ectremely noisy all night very heavy feet ( not the owners fault) we walked to and feom dinner felt safe. She has the necessities which is super helpful

Post- Crow Pass hike housing

The apartment is situated perfectly for getting supplies at the mercantile or going out to eat. We could walk to the playground. The children loved this "fancy house". There was a toy chest of creative play toys. The bunk bed was a hit as were the super soft blankets. We also had a dog with us. She slept the whole night in the dog bed and figured the dog bone was left just for her.

The toilet did not flush properly. We had to plunge it repeatedly. The heat was not on when we arrived and was not easy to turn on. We needed instructions from the owner. The code for the lockbox was wrong so we stood around waiting for 10 minutes for the owner to answer With a code that worked. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable with many warm Blankets. The fridge was clean and full of condiments. But I would not call it a rustic condo. It is One bedroom 80’s construction condo that has sleeping for six in one room.

Great Location and Very Clean and Comfortable!

The unit was much bigger than I anticipated which was a great surprise. Very clean and the beds (especially the pillows) were so comfortable! The Merc was right across the street if anyone needed and quick store items which was convenient. :) I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone wanting a great place to stay in Girdwood, Alaska!
