We’ve stayed here several times. The staff is always super friendly from valet to front desk to bartenders to housekeeping. you won’t regret one minute of your stay at this beautiful hotel. It’s located in the perfect area walkable to downtown and all the shops

Staff and location were excellent! The rooms were nicely decorated but felt crowded with 3 people. There was extra space in the closet/entry area by the door. Maybe that could be a place to put suitcases—maybe add a bench there? Maybe add some ports for recharging electronic devices? It was awkward trying to plug in devices. Would love to see complimentary coffee (or coupons for coffee at cafe?) for hotel guests somewhere outside of the room even though it completes with the restaurant/cafe for early risers (whilecothers are still sleeping and you don’t want to wake them up making coffee). Just little things would push our rating up. The restaurant food we had was excellent!

The staff was friendly and genuinely helpful. At check-in, the man at the front desk, told me which elevators to use instead of waving vaguely in that direction. When I needed to print something, they didn’t have a business center but they gave me an email address and printed it up immediately. Because of its proximity to the Naval Academy, the room decor is nautical. That makes this hotel distinctive. You never forget where you are. Because of timing, I had dinner, breakfast, and lunch at the hotel. The host was warm and helped me choose a good dish each time. I particularly loved my last meal—flatbread with fig jam, roast duck,, cheese, and greens. Breakfast was takeout, but they offer real food instead of the sugary mini muffins you see elsewhere. I had oatmeal and a chai latte. And as a tea drinker, their selection in the dining room was impressive.

Although we have stayed at this property in the past and were very happy with it, I noticed some decline in amenities and the room quality during this visit. The room was dated in terms of decor and there were several areas of peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling. The servers in the bar area were downright surly, and the breakfast food was tasteless. The coffee was even pretty bad. The best service came from the bell hops. In fact, when I checked out, the person at reception never even asked how our stay was nor said thank you. I realize good help is hard to get these days, but I was surprised. I probably won't select this hotel next time we are in Annapolis.

The Graduate is conveniently located in downtown Annapolis, close to everything and very walkable. The rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Very convenient to the Naval Academy and to Saint John's College.
