“initial reception staff was not welcoming and for a transit hotel no english spoken by her nor any attempt. Other staff were pleasant na dhelpful Definatley a one nighter but good for that with a massive e leclerc hypermarket very close by with an excellent lunchtime cafe good fod and cheap. Siantes is a delightful town with interesting city centre streets, a beautiful cathedral and loads of cheap parking. recommeneded.”

“On our arrival after six hours travelling in a heatwave we were informed that the air conditioning wasn't working. From the sign on the door it was obviously not a recent problem. We feel we should have been told prior to our arrival when we would have had chance to book alternative accommodation. As it was we had no choice but to accept. The fan in one of the rooms was broken and could not be angled. We were told there were no spares, neither was there anywhere to get cold water. My grandson……

“We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Saintes. Our room was excellent, and the large balcony just outside was a real highlight – spacious, peaceful, and wonderfully cool, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. “While I was grateful that the room was air conditioned, the shower was very poor. I imagine that it will be similar to those on submarines. In order to operate the shower you were required to push the control button, which the allowed the water to flow for a very limited amount of time, you could just about manage to get wet. Then you could apply shampoo, soap and or body wash. You then were required to keep pushing the button to obtain water to rinse yourself down. Not a great experience.”

“Séjour catastrophique du début à la fin. La chambre était un véritable four, impossible d’y rester sans suffoquer. L’odeur était insupportable, version fosse septique. Le rideau était littéralement attaché à la fenêtre, ce qui fait que si on veut ouvrir pour respirer un peu, on se retrouve avec la lumière des lampadaires ou du jour .Incompréhensible.Dans les draps, j’ai retrouvé des cheveux et des “mimis”, avec en plus une odeur vraiment douteuse.
